Izzy spent one winter discovering several islands in the Bahamas. It was a whole new experience for Izzy and she wants to share those adventures in her new picture book
Izzy’s mom and dad, Elaine and Floyd Tapp, have been sailboat people since 1988. They have sailed to South America two times and have been as far north as Long Island four times. Dad wrote a book about their misadventures called “The Saga of the Sailing Hillbillies”, 1st Edition which is a much sought-after collector’s book.

Interesting adventures
Great book, I was fascinated by the stories.
The Saga of the sailing Hillbillies was fantastic, a fantastic, makes me want to hop on a boat and have my own adventures. A great read 5 stars.. Thank you Floyd.. tomorrow night I'm going to read Saga of the Sailing Shih Tzu with the thoughts of making my own adventure with my little cheweenie.
If this edition of The Saga of The Sailing Hillbillies" is anywhere close to the 1st edition, I can't wait to get my hands (eyes) on it. Floyd is an old and long time friend and I reveled at the misadventures he described in the first book....and knowing him, I believe every one of them. Best read ever for education and entertainment. JRW
